Cedar River Seafood Crystal River

Food was absolutely phenomenal. The fried catfish was some of the best I've ever had. Clam chowder is so good too! Everything tastes homemade!

My wife and I stopped in looking for a good meal after a somewhat grueling day and I must say, we could not have found a better place. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Ashley. We found her friendly and helpful regarding the menu, also having a fun running conversation with her as she took care of her other customers. We ended up each ordering the AYCE fried shrimp with sides of a loaded baked potato, sweet potato mash and cole slaw. We were beyond please with each choice. The shrimp was lightly and flavorfully breaded and cooked perfectly. Sadly we are only passing through but next time we're in town, we'll definitely stop by again. Simply a much-needed awesome experience.

So I regret posting a 2 star review but I visited twice on consecutive days. Friday and Saturday. Friday’s meal was delicious (photo 1) food was hot well prepared loved it so much I returned on Saturday. Saturday I added broiled scallops w butter to the same meal I had the day before. Only the Scallops were inedible and blackened so overcooked and the size of dime or Nickel at best (photo 2) and were only 5 of them. All the food was served ice cold on Saturday like revenge. Many better places to eat in Beautiful Crystal River

We went on a Friday and at an early supper time. Seated immediately but filled up quickly after we were there. Great selection, decent prices, good service and food. We started with drinks, tried the Winter Margarita-sweet but good. Then we ordered an appetizer of Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and opted for the broiled with melted cheese, served with a side of ranch and they were very good. Ordered the Deviled Crab Dinner and it was three shells full and lightly breaded, for sides we added a Loaded Baked Potato with a 1.50 up charge and the okra. The crab stuffing was very good, potato-always good and the okra could have been browned a shade bit more but the taste was great. Ordered the Mahi Mahi broiled with Baked Potato and Coleslaw. This place is so good! We had the crab cake appetizer and they were fantastic! I ordered the shrimp and grits and was not disappointed! I got the blackened shrimp for the grits and it came with bacon and cheese as was so flavorful. The place was very clean and the wait staff were amazing. We will definitely be coming back!
