Central Coast Brewing Higuera Street

Fantastic brewery with an extensive selection of brews and a well-executed menu of classic brewpub fare. Very good salads and appetizers. My teenage daughter and I loved the fish and chips. Really good service. The selection of in-house beers is wild, and you can order 4-oz servings, if you care to drink light or try more than one. I was pleased that non-alcoholic brews are also available here. (Athletic and Corona NA.) Prices struck me as very reasonable. Yeah, I'll be back for sure.

Came back for another round of beer and lunch. Kind of quiet for a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. Was hoping to get a bunch of my favorite peanut butter stout but I found out that they don't have any cans and they might not even renew their license with Skippy. Maybe they will come up with another peanut butter beer that is just as good without the brand name and Skippy jar marketing but half the fun was drinking out of a can that looked like a skippy peanut butter jar. I discovered the chai beer this time. It was surprisingly great tasting beer. If you like the chai spice flavor you will probably love it. The special pastrami pizza was another delicious surprise. Solid Brewery! The Pale Ale was my favorite. A few offshoot fruit versions of some of the regular beers but overall a great selection of beer - just nothing spectacular based off my own tastes. The real surprise was the food! We LOVED the burger we had and the fried pickles were so good. Great spot to hang out and we would return.

Plenty of parking. Clean, open, seating next to the beer vats. They have a number of great beer choices. Seltzer as well. The burger was tasty, although the patty was smaller than most (think 1/4 pounder). the veggie pizza was also quite good.

Lively, interesting vibe here. Strong service. Beer was just okay.
