Central Rappahannock Regional Library Salem Church Branch

This is a beautiful branch library with many conveniences: outdoor courtyard for conversation, garden area, meeting rooms, study rooms, cubicle desks for study or computing, also upholstered chairs for comfortable reading, and snack machines in a separate area where food is permitted. The book collection is newer and not crowded. The downtown branch has more and older books but is a bit cramped. Staff members here are helpful and friendly.

Nice library for the most part, but those ladies that sit in the lobby asking people if they're "registered to vote" gets on my nerves!! Every time they ask me that question, every part of me wants to tell them to mind their own (g.d.) business. Whether or not I'm registered to vote is a personal matter and I'm tired of hearing all their jabber about it every time I go in there, especially when it comes from the same people every day. I guess some folks don't have anything better to do than to insinuate themselves into other people's privacy!! Ladies, I wish you'd all go home and bake some cookies or something.

Great library with a helpful and friendly staff. Large collection of books in all genres and a solid kid’s section. They participate in the Overdrive program so you can link your account to download audiobooks.

The library is good, full of resources, good staff. Not sure if they have wifi to connect a laptop. Good experience but needs a quieter environment

Haven't been here in over 10 years. Need some peace and quite.. felt out of place walking into here considering how we have smart phones now. Had to re taught how to look up books lady was vary nice and helped me, found me a walking dead book to read. Love the walking dead. Got a new library card as well. Fun times.
