Accidentally happened upon this location and was pleasantly surprised! Some of my favorite coffee shops use Ceremony coffee, so it was neat to stumble upon their world headquarters in Annapolis. It is tucked down a side road, but once you arrive there is a parking lot out front. They host coffee cuppings in their tasting room, and do tours of the roastery. Check out their website for more! Hope to be back one day for an event. Cheers! ☕️
This was my first time at a ceremony roasters, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a almond milk latte, which was extra hot and extra foamy. I took a chance and got the prosciutto croissant, which was absolutely delicious, it reminded me of a ham and cheese Breakfast treat. There was ample parking in the parking lot and the location was clean. The employees were very helpful when I asked questions about the breakfast menu.
Very pleasant place! Loved the atmosphere and delicious coffee ☕️. I stopped by for my afternoon coffee but I would definitely be back to get some breakfast. I had a latte with almond milk and an almond croissant. My daughter had a vanilla latte with oat milk and a muffin. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone:)
I've been going to this place for years, since even before it changed its name from Caffe Pronto and attained national fame as Ceremony. For quite some years now I've seen it bougeifying, and my discontent reached its complaint threshhold this week. It used to be hipster. The clientele looked like coffeeheads, expats from Baltimore, grad students from St. John's. The roastery had delectable pastries from Severna Park's Hawthorne bakery, with European sophistication in single-size portions for under $5. I used to go daily, and it was a mecca for my N.Y. family and friends. No more. Not the same. The price of a cup of coffee just seems to go up and up, not just absolutely, but proportionally. The latest is a $1 "au lait" charge for steaming a couple of ounces of milk to add to my $4.25 Am
If you love quality coffee, get to know Ceremony Coffee Roasters. From out of this original location, they've expanded into several shops in Maryland (Annapolis, Baltimore and Bethesda). Many other coffee shops in the D.C.-Baltimore area brew their beans. It's from this location that they roast all of their beans. My little family stopped in on a Sunday morning while on our way to Rehoboth Beach. The space is well designed with a large garage door that opens during warmer weather. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Their coffee menu is always on point with several seasonal drinks throughout the year. My wife ordered a decaf latte and I a vanilla latte. Both came out well balanced and creamy. They also sell a few pastries and packaged goods.
