Chabellas Cocina Mexicana & Bar

Stopped while traveling I-74. Location is in a small downtown. Got seated quickly. Chips were warm. My house margarita was tasty. Food was good. Server was ok, Never got a refill on my pop. Sorry, but that's a pet peeve of mine. Also took forever to get check and again had to wait to pay.

First time visiting the staff was friendly got seated right away. The 3 of us tried different things. I had the Hawaiian taco salad $13.99 it was a perfect blend of seasoning. It arrived at the table very quickly and hot. So delicious 😋 Bring a few extra dollars when you come a very small cheese dip was $6.00 We spent $61.00 with tip was worth it will eat here again!

We ordered online for pickup and we waited for an hour. We decided to sit and wait and have a drink at the bar, and meanwhile there were 4 tables that walked in ahead of us, sat down, ate, and were on their way before we ever got our food. We never got a time for pick up or confirmation our food was completed from the online order. Then when we wanted to pay for our drinks, food in hand, we were ignored and had to wait for 10 minutes just to pay. Worst service ever. We will never be back, despite the food being decent.

What a random place to be thriving in Jimmy Town ! It had been on the list of places we wanted to go for a while and we finally made it happen. The two tests of a Mexican restaurant - queso and margs. Delicious and delicious. The food was also really good. He got a steak wet burrito and I got combo enchiladas. The portions are huge, I had leftovers. Our waiter was a little grumpy but it didn't affect our service, and maybe he was just having a bad day. It's a little pricey ($63 for queso, two small margs, two entrees) compared to other places. Overall though, we will return !!

I LOVE THE PASTA MENU!!! We had wonderful service and great food! I hope Chabellas 2 has this same pasta dish.
