Chains Restaurant Supply

The guy behind the counter laughed at me when I asked if they had Safflower Oil for Hibachi cooking. Why? Totally not necessary. It's a hard oil to find. But you can just say "No, sorry we have equipment only" and I'll be fine and leave. Why laugh at the customer?

I'd like to rearrange the letters in, "Chains" to read, "Chinas" because the restaurants this supply store caters to is easily Chinese or Asian-style restaurants. So, if you're needing any of those types of utensils, woks, or equipment, Chains is your place. I really enjoy shopping here -- such a broad selection of hard-to-find supplies. The staff is super helpful. Now if we can convince all restaurant supply stores to not close so early on Saturdays :)

Be careful when buying at this store. The cashiers are very rude and ill-mannered. I bought a low-quality meat grinder, and it never worked. When I came to exchange it, they said it was not guaranteed because it was used. Of course, I had to use it, otherwise, how would I know if it works or not? I do not recommend this place. Instead, go to Chams Restaurant Supply, located at 1202 Fountain Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. They serve you well, are super friendly, and have no problem returning items.

I would like to recommend this place for the restaurant business owners, no matter you want to start a new restaurant or need to renew some of your kitchen equipment. Champs provide a large range of selection of the kitchen stuffs and the price is competitive. Their employees are not only nice but also knowledgeable and trustworthy. Definitely check this out!

Zero stars. I am a long time customer & was told at the time of purchase that I can return equipment if it does not work. I tried to return equipment & was SCREAMED at by the OWNER because I cannot return a “used” product. I tried to use it ONE time to find that the equipment did not work. If they have a certain policy, then they need to make it clear at time of purchase. Otherwise, the owners stating at time of purchase that I can return non-working equipment, but REFUSING to allow me to makes them seem like SCAMMERS.
