Chan's Beijing Express

The food use to be good but not anymore. Several times recently the food was bad. Each time I ordered something different.The last and final time I got food there I ordered shrimp and broccoli and shrimp and cashew. Too much sauce and the shrimp were MUSHY.

Well first of all inside the store is really smokey and stinks of frying grease. The food itself as I imagined it would be was very greasey. The egg rolls were good but it seems as if they drained it for 2 secs and just threw it in the bag with a napkin. The fried rice was Soo greasey that the rice became sticky fried rice. The shrimp and broccoli was pretty good and don't have and issues with that especially bc the shrimps were decent size and there was a decent amount of pieces in there. If I could rate it out of 10 I would give it a solid 5. I personally probably won't go back but if you like greasey food this the place for you. Food was ready by the time I got the the place to pick it up so that was nice.

I’ve ordered from here before so I don’t know what happened but my beef from beef and broccoli is so chewy and nasty. I’m so disappointed. it’s like it was boiled or something. Also it’s way more broccoli than it should be to compensate for the lack of meat.

I ordered the dinner special Chicken and Broccoli. It was your typical Chinese food take out place. The portions were good. The fried rice has bits of white onions, bits of green onions and some bits of eggs as well. Overall, it was not bad.

Typically the food is good. Tonight I ordered Broccoli, brown sauce and fried rice. The sauce was not made the same and the food is nasty. I called to politely express my disappointment and the guy that answered the phone, (the owner's nephew) didn't care about my disappointment. I grew up in the neighborhood where the restaurant is located and moved to Columbia. I drive all the way to this location because the food is always good. Tonight will be my last time ordering from this restaurant, you lost a 20 year customer.
