Char House on the Boulevard

Thought we would have a nice “in” night and order Char House takeout. We both ordered sandwiches with cheese, bacon, and a side of fries. So a pretty simple order. After picking up the order we checked our sandwiches and we remembered why we stopped ordering from here! On both of the sandwiches the bacon was not cooked. A side of fries with one of the sandwiches was also undercooked to where they were hard, but drenched in oil. Definitely a waste of $40!

Great food!!! But do NOT order dessert. I paid $12 a piece for 2 pieces of this peanut butter pie and it’s tiny as can be. I thought I would get my moneys worth for the pie but no.But the wood fire pizzas are awesome. The service and waitresses are very polite but do NOT recommend getting the peanut butter pie for how much they charge for it.

This place is very modern, welcoming, and gives off Positive Vibes. It's nestled in the mountains of West Virgina and a God send for weary travellers (like my wife and I). Our experience was beyond what we had hoped for. Walking into the establishment we were both excited. The place was lavished with modern lighting, it also had a nice mix of new and vintage decor. The place was exceptionally clean and the staff were all very friendly. Likewise, the food did not dissapoint, everything we ordered was quite tasty. The branding of the burger buns was a nice touch (see photos)! I definitely recommend this place to everyone who is passionate about quality food cooked with intention to please.

I came here for the first time with mother and two brothers about a week ago after doing some Christmas shopping. My brother eats out a lot and has been here before and was insistent. The atmosphere was fine. I'm not a fan of being in a room that dark to eat but I understand that some people do and that's the atmosphere they were going for. We all have different preferences and in not going to hold anyone accountable for having different taste than me. Our table was super wobbly which did such because my mother and I both got soup and it made it hard to not spill it everywhere. She had the stuffed pepper daily soup special. I had french onion. We had our Son and Daughter-in-Laws rehersal dinner here and I can't say enough how wonderful the food, establishment and all the workers who were involved in making this night absolutley wonderful. Tracy went above and beyond to make everything perfect especially all the decorating she did. I highly recommend Char House on the Boulevard for dinner or any special occasion you may have.
