Charcoal Bar & Grill

We arrived late & wanted an appetizer after a long drive. Waitress was very friendly & quickly brought drinks. Cheesy nachos were huge & delicious! Potato skins were freshly made & hot. Chef came out to make sure we liked his specialties. Clean & comfortable atmosphere. We will return.

I bought 2 salads. And they were both a joke. The Ceaser was literally a bunch of iceberg lettuce 3 croutons and 1 cherry tomato for $13??? I really thought Ramadas held themselves to a better standard. I was very disappointed. And returned to tell the server. He didn't say a word back to me. They had a chance to avoid this review by making things right. But now I'm warning you to go somewhere else.

We sat at bar, the bartender (male) was never in bar more worried about what was going on elsewhere either his watch or another area. We waited up to 10+ minutes for refills on our drinks. Would walk into bar do something and walk out, would not even check on us while sitting at bar! Very poor bartender. Food was good I got the house salad and also the egg rolls. Very good!!

I bought this on a whim since it was the last restaurant I hadn't tried on Uber Eats and I saved it for last since it looked like some generic hotel restaurant and sure enough I was right. The pizza tasted like someone bought a Digiorno pizza and cooked it in the back then resold it at a higher price. The egg rolls had this weird texture like they were stale and sitting there for awhile then reheated. The sirloin steak tasted like one of those Banquet TV dinners. Not the regular sized ones but the better versions they sell with bigger proportions. Overall wouldn't recommend this place unless you're really hungry and don't have the time to get anything else nearby.

Was in Statesville over the past few days for a wedding staying at this hotel and have to say was very pleased with the way the young ladies at this bar and grill handle business. Our party was treated like family and it made our time go by way to quickly. These women need a raise for sure. If I ever am in Statesville again this is the place I will be staying. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people.
