Charki's Teriyaki

First time here. Worker over charged me, when I asked for my receipt she got nervous and stated priceson menu were from last year and if you get vegetables its extra. No where in the menu did it state price increase or that it was only salad or veggies. For 3 plates I was charged $45 when menu price shows it should've been $33 plus she still charged an extra $2.55 for I have no reason. She should have explained everything from the beginning, that was sneaky and false advertising. Check your receipts. Food was not worth the price, plus small qty of food. I will not be going back. I definately don't recommend this place.

The chicken teriyaki is incredible! The rice is soft and sticky and the sauce they put over it is so delicious! The man who waited on us and made our food was super sweet. The salad had strawberries and blueberries which was a nice surprise. Also tried the beef and shrimp which were good but not as great as the chicken. If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out.

Man, I really wanted to love this place. I’ve heard good things about it, but my experience was not good. The woman behind the counter was so nice, courteous and friendly and she also made the meals. She is what makes this review an overall 2 stars. I ordered Ramen with chicken and chose spicy. I also ordered a large Teriyaki Chicken bowl for lunch the following day. All to go. The food came out in a very reasonable amount of time and was hot. I got home and opened up the Ramen and was so excited to enjoy this dish. But I was disappointed in the visual, taste and level of spice. The Ramen looked like it was made from a 25 cent pack of ramen from the grocery store. The lady provided polite friendly service at the register. We shared: 1. Salmon & shrimp plate with salad & house dressing -- fresh & tasty, highly recommended 2. Chicken & beef plate with veges -- chicken was good, veges were good & the beef was OK but kind of stringy & chewy/more like beef jerky 3. Small kimchi -- tasty & spicy, highly recommended I enjoyed the yummy small details like the slices of fresh fruit 🍓🍇 in the salad & the asparagus on top of the salmon & shrimp and on top of the veges 🥰 We dined in & got cups for water & the water from the fountain was cold, clean & crisp 👍

Great first experience! Ordered the Shrimp plate at lunch time. Only took about 10 minutes to get my freshly prepared order. House dressing on the salad was refreshing as was the crisp salad and fresh fruit! Rice and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Very good food and very good assortment of meals! Will definitely eat here again!!
