Charles County Public Library - Potomac Branch

Love this space. Like many said, the staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They seem to appreciate their job.

Disappointed. Charles county library website states that a notary is available at their libraries. Not true and misleading. Library at Marshall Hall does Not have a notary (but may have one...) and the one at Laplata is there for maybe an hour in the afternoon? Website should state notary are available on a very limited time and location basis. Further, should state which libraries that don't have a notary available! Very disappointed, I needed some paperwork notarized, finally went to Fast Track Tag and Title in laplata. Great service! Quick! And only a dollar more than the library (when you can actually get a notary available). My thoughts: I've given up on the library systems for most all of the so called services that they claim to provide. Charles county should update their library we

Always so Welcoming and there is always someone asking if they can help. Or if I have a question or problem they go put of there way to help. Thanks for being so patient and understanding. My favorite Library.

I'm very glad to have this branch re-open. It is clean, organized and COVID prepped. I particularly went there to use their computer and printer. Printing is no longer free. They have gone back to .10 a page for black and white. I don't know the price for color, but it is labeled on the machine. The staff is willing and ready to assist you with all your needs.

Awesome and amazing library. Staff is very helpful, and the library itself is very clean and organized. Self checkout for books, wow, what a world we live in.
