Service and atmosphere are pretty good at the given price-point; the food definitely could have been better. This restaurant is a far cry from what it was 30 years ago(referencing the Maple Shade, location), but not too bad by today's standards. Give it a whirl.

How do you sell Chicken francaise and not with pasta? I was very confused and then I had to order the side of pasta to put it with it and it was just pasta francaise soup. Service is great. We had a big table so I get it. I'm glad they're back. I'm glad they're local but maybe do a little better job the food. All in all I would try it again because I've heard enough good things about it and again the service was very good.

I've been going here for years and have never had a bad meal. Filet, short ribs, salmon, salad bar, it's all good. Prices are still very reasonable considering how other places have skyrocketed. Most recently, 2 adults getting steaks and 2 kids meals, with drinks, just over $100. Anywhere else that I've been recently, it's going for about $150. The kids meal cheeseburger was at least an 8 ounce patty, enough to eat half there and have another meal at home. Servers are always nice and attentive. It's an older building, but has a lot of charm. Highly recommend this place.

I want to give a good review but on the way to the hostess station we saw a cockroach and pointed it out to the hostess, who told her manager but no one apologized. When we were seated for lunch we were giving dinner menus. I asked if there was a lunch menu and was told not really, but then we were given the lunch menu. The cost of the salad bar on the regular menu was 18.99 but on the lunch menu it was 17.99 for a sandwich, fries AND the salad bar! Finally, the silverware was not clean. Our food was very good.

We have not been here for years. The best I can say is that all of the good things I remember about it are still there. They also have some new menu items. We ordered the cheese curds and pierogie for an appetizer. Both were great. I also ordered French onion soup which was ok. It wasn’t bad but I wasn’t a huge fan of the cheese they used. I ordered chicken fingers for my entree and they were great. The one thing I like about them is that they are huge pieces of white meat chicken, not stringy tenders. The service was really good and the restaurant was clean. One complaint that I have is that it is in an old house so it’s really hard to navigate with my cane. There are small steps everywhere. They do have bars on the wall to hold on to when you are stepping up and down but it is really
