Charlie Don't Surf

Great service! The server was quick, polite and very nice. The atmosphere was great. We came here on a night that was cold outside and we got a spot right by the fireplace. It was warm and cozy. I got the fish and chips with gravy which was all delicious. Fries were crispy, gravy was thick and hot and the fish had just the right amount t of meat and batter. The girlfriend got a quesadilla which was also cooked perfect and tasted great! We will come back!

I have been coming here for years and im actually upset that I didnt discover it sooner. The food is the best I ever had, the service is kind and quick, the view is outstanding. I highly recommend everyone tries the Charlie Burger at least once, you'll never want to go to McDonalds again!

Wow! Awesome spot!!! Right on the main strip. Great views with great food. Calamari was great. Beer was cold, fish tacos were decent. This place has lots of character. Only issue small washrooms. But it's been for a place that's been going since the 80's they are doing something right. I'd definitely return next time in in the area.

Stopped by Charlie Don’t Surf for a casual drink and had a nice experience overall. The location is unbeatable — right across from the beach with a fantastic view, especially around sunset. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pricing was reasonable for the area. I had a cocktail that was just okay — a little on the watery side — but the Guinness was nice and cold (though I wish there was a bit less foam). All in all, a solid spot to relax by the water. Would come back for the atmosphere and maybe try something else from the drink menu next time.
