Charlie Graingers

I *loved* Charlie Grangers, and not only would come back, but hope to make an extra stop during my short visit. The food was both interesting and surprisingly good, and the service was top-notch for a counter restaurant. I had the Wilmington, in the photo, which is brisket topped with jalapenos, house made BBQ sauce, a spicy relish, coleslaw and two pickles. Every bite was full of sweet, tangy, spicy, crunchy goodness with an ever-present brisket base flavor. Grab a knife before sitting down because there's no way to pick this thing up! My wife had the Little Scrappy with just brisket (they were out of the pork) with sauce and coleslaw. This is a wonderful little diner with great food! You will leave here full and happy! They serve unique flavor combinations that appeal to your palate! I ordered the original and had the chili on the side! Best turkey salad ever and the pimento cheese on top really added a depth of flavor. The pickles were fresh and garlicky.The bread was high quality and didn't fall apart with the volume of food added. I will definitely bookmark this place! It's a few miles off the interstate but worth the time!

Amazing food. Great BBQ. Staff was friendly and helpful. Brisket sandwich was top notch. Hotdog was great. Really enjoyed the beans. Banana pudding was good. Indoor seating was limited.

Have visited the area a few times without eating there! Decided yesterday to finally go and check this place out after numerous looks on social media. Wow! So glad I did! Absolutely loved the food and experienced awesome service as well! The hotdogs were simply delicious. I highly recommend the Old Fashioned with added warmed sauerkraut. Actually offered warming the sauerkraut. Definitely first rate! Brisket baked beans a must. Topped off with some unreal banana pudding. Completely full. So good, I got a togo order for the family at home. In the heart of Richmond Hill! A visit that will not disappoint!

Amazing BBQ with sweet coleslaw and spicy pickles layered on top of a soft hotdog bun. I had the side of baked beans which was so good that I ended up getting an extra one to bring home to have more later. They played great music and had out door seating under umbrellas and was dog friendly.
