Charolas el Machiwi

We were on our way back from a visit to Bombay Beach, Slab City, & East Jesus and we were famished. We drove past the "chain" restaurants and headed to this little place thanks to google maps. The people running the restaurant are lovely and genuine, the place was very clean and the food, well, it was delicious.

Best shrimp tacos (crispy and blackened) I have had in my life & the huge frosted mug made the cold beer taste even better. The staff were very friendly, helpful and genuine. So happy we stopped, highly recommend!

Traveling through and wanted a late lunch. Had the quesabirria and a lemon drink and WOW!!! Super delicious! The best I have ever had. Great service also. So glad I stopped here!
