Charred Gourmet Burger & Sandwich

Lots of cow art. Big wood stacks for the wood burning stove. Ordered burgers medium, warm pink. Only one was a little more pinker than the others. Delicious burgers. Hot and crispy fries and truffle fries. Just disappointed no longer have the country burger with goat cheese.

Charred Food is one of those underrated gems you’re so glad you stumbled across. The moment you walk in, the space feels open, casual, and comfortable — perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dinner spot. You order right at the counter when you come in, almost like a fast-food setup, but don’t let that fool you… the food quality is far from fast food. My burger came out surprisingly fast, but still had that incredible smoky, char-grilled flavor that makes Charred stand out from other burger places. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the Brussels sprouts were honestly a highlight — so flavorful and cooked just right. If you’re craving a solid burger with great sides in a relaxed setting, Charred is definitely worth a stop. An underrated Herndon spot that deserves a lot more love!

First time at Charred, and I ordered the Roadhouse burger. The menu says it comes with cheese but they forgot to put it on my burger. Other than that it was good 👍🏼. Ordered the Cajun fries and they were not bad but a little salty for my taste. I liked that you get a free drink if you order fries. Overall I think it was a good experience.

I can not stop talking about this restaurant. The food is made FRESH and you can taste the difference that makes! The owner is always working and is so so kind! The flavor and complexity you get out of a truly good home-cooked Burger is what this place offers. I am shocked this place doesn't have a line out its doors!

Absolutely amazing experience! 🍔 The halal burger here is next level — juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tastes fresh and full of quality ingredients. The customer service was just as impressive — super friendly, welcoming, and fast! You can really tell they care about their customers. The prices are also great for the quality you get. Definitely one of the best halal burger spots I’ve ever tried. Highly recommended! 👏🔥
