Checkers

Each car is taking 14 minutes in the drive thru individually. I could have walked into Walmart for a frozen burger next door and cooked it on my muffler faster. I'm literally STUCK HERE with people behind me.

I ordered my food via drive thru, asked me to park and wait for my order. No big deal... but I wanted a milkshake *milkshake machine is down* I asked for a apple pie and I was told none were available. But now if none were available when I ordered my food and im asked to park and wait that means theres time to make apple pies? Its not like its a dead time, its busy, hence why I needed to park and wait, so the employees just decide not to do side tasks to better this location. Noted. Also was asked if I wanted marinara sauce just to not have any in my bag 🤦‍♀️

Update: Outdoor eating area trash cans overloaded - trash on the ground... employees inside just standing around instead of taking care of issue! Fries were awesome & hot, burgers sucked - We like ours hot with cheese at least somewhat melted, certainly did not happen today. We just were trying to give this location another try... not going to happen again. Update: Two days after I posted this review, I was referred to as a "Jeremiah" in a response. WTH. Will be contacting corporate on this one (with my screenshots). Totally ripped off with the chicken bites, fries, & drink combo for our granddaughter (08/07/24)... appears we were charged for the combo, but recharged for the drink that was supposed to come with the combo (making an employee aware of this was a waste of time). I ordered fries and an apple pie, mid-afternoon. Most of the fries were cold, maybe 3 were hot, and the seasoning had a weird flavor. The apple pie wasn't fully cooked,and was barely warm. It was as though both items were cooked an hour earlier and placed under a headlamp. When I asked for a cheesecake carmel sundae,the cashier said they nolonger serve ice cream. Odd, since (1) there is ice cream on the menu board and (2) the sundaes haven't been out long.

Checkers was always my favorite breakfast until very recently. Hash browns are now bite size and dry. Breakfast champ was too salty to finish. They make the cashier try to push items on me that I don’t want. I don’t know what happened, but this place sucks, now.
