Checkers

I thought checkers was checkers but man I was wrong. Checkers in Florida a large shake comes in a large cup here in NY for almost $6 you get a medium cup. Actually really mad about that because it's over priced and the only reason I ordered checkers. The battered dip onions are expensive for the size and they also mix French fries in so you get less. For the price and value I won't be going back i will wait until I get back to Florida and get the proper size for my money. Now that I got it back to the motel and I'm eating it let me edit the review. My medium/large shake was strawberry on top and chocolate on the bottom when I ordered strawberry and the burgers would have been fine if they didn't put a pound of mayo on each sandwich. So I'm sitting in the drive thru sitting there for close to 10 mins, saw a car ahead of me order. So went inside, three kids working all seemed frazzled. While I'm waiting for service I see a car pull up to the window (figures) they get taken care of before me. Them I place order, I I got the Baconzilla which used to be. huge sandwich but looked half it's size. Also got Motz sticks and to no surprise they forgot the marinara sauce. DO BETTER!

Update: Their current pretzel burger combo is the bomb. One of the better burgers we’ve had! Previously: Cheap eats that actually taste pretty good. The current $5 meal deal was great for the price. Their fries have that crispy coating on them…normally I have only have a few fries but these were good enough to enjoy them all. The chicken bites were tiny but tasty. Burger was typical fast food fare. Drinks were refillable. Interesting desserts offered including cheesecake sundaes, funnel cake fries and Nerd slushies. Definitely a place to consider if looking for a cheap fast burger deal.

The chicken fry and loaded fries are my go to here. Service is great. Food came out hot and fresh. Love visiting here when I’m in Buffalo. I ordered drive-thru so I can’t say much about the dining atmosphere. The individual serving us through the drive-thru was kind and attentive. Gave us everything we needed including sauces and napkins.

First time trying checkers. Food is a little pricey but tastes amazing. The burgers are good but wow the chicken sandwich is mind blowing. So many flavors and spice and just the right amount of crunch. The Loaded fries tastes great I would recommend the garlic fries. I will have to come back and try more.
