Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

Went for lunch with a friend, arrived at 12:15. A couple of big tops were in the lobby in front of us so we went to the bar. Waited 5 minutes before asking the host if there was a bartender because we hadn't gotten served. A few minutes later our bartender approached and told us she was busy but would get to us (she was polite). So after a few minutes she came for our drink order and then food. My friend ordered ribs and I ordered fish and shrimp. His food came out timely, I waited 13 minutes for my food. At that point my friend was finished and I asked for mine to go. Our ticket was delivered, we never received an apology for the delay on the food, we were never offered a discount, let buy your drink, etc. Nothing. Just acknowledge the mistake! Everything I ordered was wrong aside from the mash potatoes and even then I got the wrong gravy. The food was good for the price. Also ordered water after I ordered their very sugary lemonade. And the water came only after I finished my meal. Which was maybe 20-30 mins. Although to be fair to them it was valentines and it was my first time there. For the price it’s good

I am not one to leave a review, but today's service was bad. I ordered my son some pork ribs with chicken tenders. I have a pork allergy so I specifically told them to put the tenders on a separate plate. To make sure the food didnt touch each other. When we got his plates all tenders were stained with barbecue sauce. Where they had put the tenders on the ribs. Then they were taken off and plated in a different plate. Then my salad the chicken was under cooked and there was a hair on the chicken. Hoping a manager would have come to speak to us, nothing no manager in site.

This place never disappoints. The food is always delicious. We don't usually have to wait. We are understanding when we do have to wait since we're usually a part of 10. Even then, the wait is not too long. The restaurant always seems clean. The women's restrooms can use cleaning more often, but it's not too bad. Our servers have always been pleasant and helpful. The only complaint I have is that there's usually too much dressing added to the salads. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This time was the worst experience ever. The server (Miguel) was the coldest, laziest service I encountered; it took him forever to take the orders and bring them to the table. It took 50 minutes to get the food, and we received only 3 of the 4 plates we ordered. The appetizer never arrived, and he never brought the Croissant, saying the kitchen was backed up while the restaurant had 8-9 tables occupied. The buffalo chicken wrap came with a long, thick, dark hair in it, and the chicken tenders were beyond fried and black, greasy. The steak we ordered was supposed to be medium, but it came rare and had a strange flavor. The double chicken steak plate never came. I talked with the manager, and she was very polite and said they would replace the food and cover the tap, but Miguel (the server)
