Cheese 'N Stuff

So excited that Cheese N Stuff is open again! They kept the same menu, cleaned up the interior, and kept the heart alive! They do not skimp on the meat, great and delicious sandwich! The staff is so kind and conversational, Jane, Jared, Scott, Cooper, and Giacomo all were so kind and keep that local vibe alive! Now there is more seating with bar top style seating inside and such a cute patio in the back where I enjoyed my delicious sandwich. So grateful the new owners kept this local spot alive instead of letting it get bought out by someone who would tear it all down. Cheese n Stuff Forever!

I have been coming to cheese and stuff for decades. I was so excited to see that they were opened again & although I’ve heard a few negative reviews. I thought I would go in and check it out myself. I did so today and the atmosphere is amazing. It looks so good in there. The prices went up. The customer service Went down I waited a long time for a sandwich that was not good at all falling apart , too warm…. It fell apart two bites in so I went to the other half even worse So disappointed

I understand this plaxe had new ownership and hell yea!. I really want to support them 100%..However, they've got some serious, shii to work out in their operations. Waiting 30+ minutes for just two sandwiches felt pretty rough. What made it worse was the low output: watching the counter, they only managed to crank out maybe six sandwiches in that half-hour span, despite the line of people. ​ 1. cashier who didn't seem to know the menu or do anything. Homeboy didnt take orders or really do anything. 2. One person taking orders but disappears 15 min. At a time. 3. Employees just standing around; there was zero hustle or coordination. When my sandwich finally arrived, it was made incorrectly. ​I'm trying to be supportive, but the efficiency and attention to detail are currently way off.

Back in 2003, we relocated to PHX and my work made for frequent drives past Cheese ‘n Stuff - but I was distracted by their next door neighbor Central Music, as I play the Saxophone! So one day during a lunch break, I decided to check out the music store, but was feeling a little light-headed and decided to grab a bite to eat. Enter Cheese ‘n Stuff. They had a long line of customer (that’s always a good sign) and I soon experienced the fact that they made excellent sandwiches! They closed their doors in April 2025, but the good news is that they’ve reopened! The new owners make excellent sandwiches! We tried the Tyler, the Haturo,the Turkey Club, and the New Yorker. TLDR: Skip this place. Parking is terrible and the place is underwhelming. No indoor seating and the patio is disconnected from the building in a central Phoenix alley. Staff is nice but terribly disorganized. Veggie sandwich should just be called meatless, it really felt like it was missing something. Potato salad came in a 16 oz cup.
