Cheeseburger Bobby's

I don't normally write reviews, but this was a poor experience I have not been able to rectify. I ordered a burger and fries yesterday, and the burger was obviously old - like at least a day old. It was hard and burnt, and generally tasted strange. The fries were fine, and the girls up front were all lovely. However, what stood out to me when I first walked in was how filthy the restaurant was - the floors were caked in dirt and shoe tracks. There was food and drink spilled, and just smeared all over the floors. The bathrooms were the dirtiest I have seen - and the drink station, condiments were all so filthy. I had never heard of Cheeseburger Bobby's since we're from a neighboring state and this chain only exists in GA. But while driving around on a Sunday evening, we decided to give it a try. I really like the concept of being served one of their menu item hamburgers and then being able to add fresh toppings and condiments from the serving bar. My wife and I both ordered the bacon cheeseburger - her's with onion rings and mine with fries. She only added onions from the topping bar but I loaded mine up with onions, lettuce, pickles and tomato. Since we ordered "to go", I grabbed ketchup, ranch and Bobby's sauce from the condiment station. We were staying about five minutes away so the burgers were still hot and fresh. She was pleased with her onion rings but I was less impressed with the fries.

Where shall I start…… Cashier asked my order multiple times and still got it wrong. Cook had his long necklace inside my food as I watched him cook and plate it. I paid for an extra patty, and the cook tried to give me a half sized patty after paying full price. Barely any toppings were put onto the Mexicana Burger that I ordered and the chorizo looked raw. The other worker came out of the kitchen without wearing gloves, reached into the burger toppings bar and grab veggies with bare hands….. It’s a definite NO for me and my family! I asked for a refund and quickly left to never return again. Gross

Burger was good, fries were cooked in oil that looked like it hadn't been changed in 2 years. They literally looked like sweet potato fries. Cleanliness was not very good, condiment bar was kind of gross considering they they were pretty slow when got there just before dinner. They should have gotten the place and food area nice and clean for the dinner crowd.

I stopped here with my girlfriend because she’s obsessed with some app called upside because it gives discounts to gas and restaurants. I wasn’t in the biggest mood for a burger especially from a new restaurant that online looked like a fast food place. I’m very glad we went and I was wrong, walking in it’s like a 5 guys sort of restaurant, Jackson was our cashier and he was super friendly and helped me choose what to order since I’ve never been here before. I loved the fact that I got to add all the toppings as much or little as I wanted. It brought back many great memories of Fuddruckers. The burger was absolutely delicious, I do wish I would have ordered the double patty because of the amount of toppings I put on the burger. Great taste, very reasonably priced.
