I ordered food a few times from the chef the first two times that I ordered. Everything was great. The food taste amazing however, the service is horrible. I've been ordering food off of GrubHub and Uber eats and she keeps canceling the order. I don't know why she does that and it's the most annoying thing and then she waits two hours to cancel the order. If you wanna cancel the order cancel it right away and then my thing is why are you canceling all the time that just doesn't make for good business now I gotta wait five business days for $60 to return to my account.

I have been in LA for ten years and for ten years I have been missing out. This is what soul-food is supposed to taste like. The collard greens tasted like my granny was next her cooking, perfection at its finest!! The mac and cheese was on point like a harpoon with a nice layer of cheese and flavor in every bite. The catfish was flakey and seasoned leaving my mouth watering for more.. And the sunset drip kool-aide took me back to my childhood. I found my new soul-food spot and I will be back!!! Ordered food once through an app and it was superb. Went to the business location, couldn't order and they wanted you to use a qr code. That was a little much. I wish they had a counter where you could order. I chose not to stay and left.

Supported Chef Mel before I left to go back home (Philly) she was a pleasure to speak with, fast and efficient (I ordered through door dash) my food was still hot when it arrived. I will definitely be supporting her again when I’m in LA. So mad I found her at the last minute because everything I had up until having her food was terrible.
