Cheffie’s Café

I'll start with the positive. My colleague got a club sandwich which he thought was good (not great). I ordered a cobb salad that looked great when they put it together then they dumped it on the counter and chopped it up to the point of evisceration. The hard boiled eggs turned into goop. The lettuce was in bits and was hard to eat. I couldn't put the dressing on it because it would have felt like paste.

I went to Cheffies a few days ago because I wanted a salad. It’s been a year since I’ve come. I have to say that the girls that work there have the nastiest attitude and act like they don’t want to work there. They are very rude. And the salad I ordered was ok it tasted like fridge and like it was at that point where it was about to go bad. My husband ordered a panini and it was mid very bland and plain nothing wow. We paid $40 for that and a slice of cake. I was like I could’ve made something better at home. Greatly disappointed.

Henry was incredibly helpful with keeping my salad free of my (many) allergens. He went above and beyond to make sure there was no cross contamination at any point in the process, helped look at recipes for a variety of options, and was so kind and accommodating. Five star service and special thanks to Henry!

This is my first review of Cheffie’s, but I’m a longtime fan of all their locations. You can get the absolute freshest soups, salads, and sandwiches here and this location has draft beers as well. On this visit, I was greeted pleasantly by the staff who was knowledgeable and thoughtful when they answered my questions. I really enjoyed the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich that was filled and full of flavor of chicken & veggies. I chose a kale soup as one of sides and it was fresh and flavorful too. As a bonus, I took home some potato salad, which was zesty and chomped full of taters. Overall, I was very pleased.
