Chef's Ramen

Amazing! The noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth was very flavorful. I got the tonkotsu ramen and by boyfriend got the garlic Parmesan ramen and both were super yummy, perfect temperature (boiled egg was definitely more hard boiled than soft but that could be a one time thing) and overall perfect for the stormy weather we were in. They also give complimentary fried mochi balls which were so good!

Best ramen and chicken katsu I’ve had in my life! Highly recommend, great atmosphere and friendly service. Will be back next time I visit the island!

This place makes hands down the best Japanese curry on island. I've tried a couple, authentic ones, cheap ones, fancy ones, the flavor here is the best! Yeah you wouldn't think a ramen spot got great curry right!? Especially the staff don't look like Japanese? But hey, if it's good food, great service and friendly prices, I'm there. We would drive to Kalihi just for this. Why their curry? Flavorful, great consistency, carrots and onions inside, got a bit of kick to it, perfect balance of saltiness and sweetness. Also their oysters are well fried with a good crunch. Just so glad they got the oyster option! (5 pieces for their oyster curry). Then they got their good tonkotsu going for their ramen. This place is awesome I ordered at 8:05 pm and the took me in. I got the Tonkatsu curry with rice and boy did it deliver and satisfy my cravings! Crispy outside and juicy inside. Next time I will come for Ramen! I appreciate the portions and they have house Mede chili oil in bottles not to spicy but it gets the job done. The dining area is clean. I’m ready for the next time I come!
