Customer Reviews
Food is good but too tasty for me especially the spicy fish. I talked to the server and she said customers can request to make the dishes less salty, spicy, or oily. Price is decent, atmosphere is good
$10 per dish promotion on weekdays and weekends is a good deal! Ambiance is pretty good and both our waitresses and servers were friendly. Keep in mind their dishes tend to be more spicy, salty and oily due to their specialty and cooking ingredients.
This the best Schechuan food in this area. So glad they have a location here in Rowland Heights so we don’t have to trek down near Alhambra. We order the fish fillet in hot chi sauce and the pork intestine dry pot. Spit fire is all I can think of to describe the tastes but it was so flavorful! Scan the QR code to order and enjoy. Service was fast and efficient.
I went a little out of my wheelhouse today to go for spicier Chinese food and I was not disappointed. The menu is on a QR code and so is the ordering. I came on Saturday for lunch and food came out very fast. The service here was also good as the servers took care of your needs. The toothpick lamb was very tasty and the green beans were slightly spicer take on the dish I get from Cantonese spots. The boiled fish with green peppers came with lots of tender fish and veggies. However I am not a fan of whole peppercorns as they are a bit too astringent for me. Other than that, I would come back to try some other unique dishes.
If you're looking for a mouth burn from Sichuan peppercorns, go check out Chengdu Taste in Rowland Heights. There are other locations in SoCal as well. We ordered a few dishes when we had dinner there: -Dry stir fry pig intestines ($19.99) -Sauteed eggplant w/ spicy garlic sauce ($13.99) -Mung bean jelly noodle in chili sauce ($8.99) -Toothpick lamb w/ cumin ($22.99) -Cuiyun boiled fish with pickled cabbage and chili ($21.99) -Wonton w/ green pepper soup ($10.99) Of these dishes, we thought the intestines, eggplant, and mung bean jelly noodle were our favorites. We were all sweating while eating, but enjoying the mouth-numbing food. Would definitely try some other dishes next time too! They have fast and efficient service and there is ample parking in this complex.
