Cheng's

Don’t be fooled by its modest exterior, Cheng’s serves some of the best Chinese food in the Orlando area! I’ve been coming here at least twice a month, and every time I try something new, it’s always delicious. One item I always order, whether dining in or taking out, is their hot and sour soup (pictured below). It’s perfectly flavorful, tangy, and just the right hint of sweetness without being overly spicy. I love pairing it with white rice for an extra comforting bite. The other dishes shown, veggie spring rolls, beef mei fun, and General Tso’s chicken are also standouts and among my favorites. If you’re craving authentic, consistently tasty Chinese food, Cheng’s is absolutely worth a visit!

Chengs Chinese, Lake Mary, It absolutely pains me to have to say this. For the very first time, I picked up a poor quality, disappointing meal from Chengs Chinese Restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for year after year. When the subject of Chinese Food comes up, I have always highly recommended Chengs. Why? Because over the years, their food quality has always been consistent, delicious, and fresh. Despite the fact that Chengs is a 30 mile round trip from my home, it never mattered. I was eager to get it home and devour it. But over this past weekend, on Saturday March 7, 2026, I picked up Pork Lo Mein, among other items. Instant disappointment. The pork was tough and impossible to chew. It was as tender as a Goodyear Tire retread. Horrible! This was brand new territory for me. Bad

The food was awesome and dining inside was really nice. We really enjoyed our meals and will definitely return.

Superb service delicious food served quickly. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent sized servings works well for small family or one person with a big appetite 😁

Cheng’s Chinese Food in Lake Mary is absolutely delicious and truly authentic. They’re the only place in town I’ve seen that uses bean sprouts in their fried rice, which immediately stood out to us, just like in NYC. An Asian friend originally recommended them, and we had previously enjoyed a catered dinner from Cheng’s—both experiences were fantastic. We recently placed a takeout order and completely fell in love with their food. Highly recommend!
