Chen's China Bistro

This was my first time trying Chinese food. I asked the friendly waiter to suggest something for me based on my preferences, telling him that I like sweet and sour and slightly spicy dishes. The young man suggested Fried Wontons as an appetizer, followed by a main course consisting of an order of Shrimp Chow Mein and Shrimp Chow Fun. Both main dishes were fantastic. The Shrimp Chow Mein was seasoned and a little spicy, with the flavor of the soy sauce standing out, along with a light, sweet touch. The Shrimp Chow Fun with noodles was different; the sauce was slightly saltier and coated the noodles completely. I liked the restaurant's atmosphere; even though there were many people, the sound was muted, and there were only pleasant murmurs accompanied by occasional laughter. I will definitel

We heard this place was good so we decided to try it. It was excellent! We only had the lunch specials. Hot & sour soup with General Tso chicken and rice. And wonton soup with egg foo young and rice. Very very good and a large portion. Can’t wait to go back for a nice dinner meal. Also, they have a loyalty program. 1 point for every $10 spent. 10 points gets you $10 off.

I was so impressed as soon as I stepped into the restaurant. The food was excellent. The service was excellent and I enjoyed the atmosphere with the Asian music playing softly in the background.

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein and Beef Chow Mein for pickup. When we arrived home we found that though both containers were well full, neither contained any noodles at all. The chicken was also very unappetizing and did not match the expected sauce. The Beef Chow Mein was overly drenched in sauce as well.

I ordered the gen so”s chicken lunch special. It was delicious with meaty chunks of chicken and fresh broccoli with rice. Love this place with friendly staff, definitely will be back for more. It’s hard to find meaty chicken at Chinese restaurants in Florida so this is a rare find.
