Since we were in the vicinity, went there for lunch, reading a few positive reviews about the place and to support local business. However our experience was utterly disappointing...there are just 2 or 3 small tables for dining in, there is no service, no water or napkins provided, the waiter does not even bother to ask. Our orders consisted of chicken chopsuey and chicken with peppers and tomatoes, both dishes were bland and tasteless, served on cold (room temperature) white rice. We typically enjoy lunch combos at various Chinese restaurants around NJ...this one was really poor. Sorry, cannot recommend.

Been going to this place for years. Super fast service. Food never fails to satisfy my craving. Combo “plates” are a bargain. Family owned, good food, reasonable prices.

All the people, with their negative reviews maybe they don’t have the right place. I’ve been eating here for the last decade and honestly their food has always been delicious. I’ve always compared their Chinese food to other places and other places have always disappointed for the most part besides another place locally as well! Especially when you live out of state, you realize how good our NJ food is!! Can you also believe they’re one of the few that offer the ginger sauce ?! When I lived out of state I would ask other Chinese restaurants for ginger sauce and they didn’t even know what I meant ! Chens is the best and quick service !

If you have a child that likes plain lo mien but doesn't like spicy I wouldn't recommend it from here. Thier qt of plain rice was bigger in size then their qt of sweet and sour chicken. The broccoli was hard in the chicken & broccoli plus there wasn't enough brown sauce to enjoy a flavor. The lid wasn't completely on the soup and it spilled on the way home. I usually use another Chinese restaurant but they are closed on Tuesday's and I was craving it. BIG mistake also you get less food for more money. If the quality was good it would be worth it but it's not.

Best treating Chinese food in the area. Lovely family business and prepares food very fast. Definitely recommend!!!
