Chicano El Primo

I came here three weeks ago for the first time, and this morning I woke up thinking about their food. I have tried the tacos, tostadas, empanadas, quesadilla, molé roja, the rice and beans, and a few other dishes. It is all excellent, like going to your friends house and their mom is the cook. More traditional cooking methods and flavors. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic Mexican food, and I know I will be going back again.

Wonderful customer service, really delicious and homemade watermelon aguafresca (watermelon based drink) and ice cream. The verdé salsa was perfect with the steak taco dinner. Highly recommend- also in walking distance of Lake Murray :)

Small cute place very good food made to order very impressed with the flavor and how authentic . a lot of places are so Americanized but I will say this is far from it. When you go to get Mexican food you truly want authentic very impressed must try

Absolute joke. Dont waste your time. Chips were stale, salsa had no flavor. Ordered the taquitos, they had no meat in them, mostly hollow. Rice was ok. When I brought this up to the waiter he basically told me they couldn't give me a discount because I ate some of it. Just find another option and enjoy it elsewhere.

Food was amazing. Flavor, quantity, and quality. Chips and Salsa where great as well.
