Chicken Express

I’ve been coming to Chicken Express for over 20+ years. They are known for their Mexican Rotisserie Chicken. You can order plates or family meals. What’s cool about this place is that you can get tortillas, salsas and Spanish rice with your chicken as well as more traditional sides such as coleslaw, garlic bread and potato salad. I go the 12 pice family meal which came with choice of tortillas or garlic bread and 2 large sides (I got coleslaw and Spanish rice). The chicken was delicious like usual and the coleslaw tastes a lot like KFC’s coleslaw which I like. The garlic bread was a little soggy by the time I brought it home and could benefit from a little more seasoning. The Spanish rice also could be slightly more flavorful. They used to have a salsa bar where you can get your own salsa

Best chicken ever. Always very good. It is 60 miles from my house and we drive over once a month.

This picture does absolutely nothing for the flavor of this sandwich! Reminds me of how only a Grandmother can make the very best bologna sandwich! Well this plain looking chicken sandwich is the tastiest chicken sandwich I’ve had besides my Grandma’s! Lol! And this is my other half so it’s been sitting around a few hours and still tastes perfect!!

My four year daughter severely choked on a nearly 1.5 inch long thin sharp chicken bone that was in her chicken soft taco! Thank God, she is okay. I had to manually dislodge the bone and bite of food from her throat and mouth, as the painfully lodged bone caused her airway to be briefly blocked by the following food. Sorry to have to post this, but I found (no website, email, etc.) to escalate my concern beyond a phone-call to the restaurant with a resolution that I wasn’t satisfied with.

The fish, hush puppies and gizzards are my favorite here. It is so addicting
