Chicken Express

I have been to more than my share of Chicken E places across Texas - most are good - some are exceptional - and this one blew me away!!! GREAT on all counts!!! I was more than happy!!! We will be back!! 🤗

I ordered a #5 gizzard combo with Mac and cheese and sweet tea. The gentleman that took my order snickered when I placed it but I didn’t think anything of it. I got to the window and they gave me cold gizzards. I told the cashier the food was cold and she asked me did I want her to tell them. I said yes and she walked away from the window to tell them. The gentleman came to the window and asked me what was wrong, I explained that the gizzards were cold. He offered me tenders and chicken on the bone (none of which I eat) because it was too late to cook gizzards (he could have said that when I ordered). I am supposed to be receiving a refund in 3 to 5 days. Communication is key and customer service is the necessary.

Great place to grab a quick bite and they even have a sonic type set up if you wish to get your food like that, they have a regular drive through and they have a great covered outside area to sit and eat if you wish, that's were we sat.

I ordered around 10 of the Mega meals (400 tenders) and tons of sides/tea to feed all our employees. The staff at ChEx jumped into action and in about 1 1/2 hours they had the orders ready, packed and hand delivered to my vehicle. Great Job Weatherford Chicken Express!! Our employees really enjoyed this simple but delicious meal. Say what you want about chicken express. It’s consistent and pretty good food and their staff is always helpful.
