Chicken King

Heard their fried chicken was good, and they didn't disappoint. Went in for a quick lunch and order the 2-piece fried chicken meal. Got the potato salad and coleslaw for my 2 sides. Both chicken pieces were pretty big, crunchy and tasty. Enjoyed the potato salad, simple and creamy (not mushy). Their coleslaw was good too - crisp (not too "wet") and just sweet enough. Place has a nice atmosphere and good service - Overall a great lunch👍

There is just something that does the soul good about supporting a local, small, family owned business. The service here is incredible, and every detail is prepared with passion and love for welcoming and feeding the customers who become family. The food is southern soul, charm, and tradition served hot and fresh. You don't want to miss out on an opportunity to grab a plate here.

We use to go at least 4 times a week. Don't know if they have changed hands but the slaw use to be swt and creamy not so much now. The meat on the sandwiches (fish and chicken ) use to be the best around. Great portion thick and hanging off the bun. Last few times we were there the fish was so thin and the chicken was thinking and very tough. Very disappointed. The servers are the absolute best around though.

Great breakfast experience. Great value, cozy place with great food. Sam was a great waitress. The new epoxy / wood tables are a nice touch.
