Chicken Salad Chick

Hey yall - there's not many foods that say "southern" the same way a fab chicken salad can. Pair that with this chic, hip little tea room meets lunch spot can. 16 recipes to chose from! We had the Fruity Fran and Jalapeño Holly. Chose between white, wheat and croissant. Or choose skinny and put your dolup on lettuce. Fruity Fran 🥐 - 8/10: fresh grapes and walnuts. Jalapeño Holly - 8/10: I prefer a little more heat, but delish. Broccoli Salad - 9.5/10: best I've ever had! Fruit Salad 🍓 - 9/10: FRESH Sugar Cookies 🍪- 10/10 ...soft with the perfect amount of icing. Staff and Service: 9/10 Decore/Atmosphere: 8/10. An adorable tea style dining area. Pinks and greens dones so tastefully. Plenty of seating. Parking: the shopping center is busy.

I visited this Chicken Salad Chick on February 17, 2026, a little after 7:00 PM. During my visit, my mother politely asked an employee whether one of the soups contained meat. Instead of responding verbally, the employee simply shook her head “no” without saying a word. Additionally, while moving past me, she walked directly in front of me without saying “excuse me.” This interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. The employee was a middle-aged, brown-skinned African American woman with braids and appeared to be wearing a blue collared shirt, which made me unsure if she was a supervisor or manager. Waiting eagerly for their location to open my area, In the meantime, first time trying their food and we were delighted. I am not a fan of anything chicken but their classic Nancy was delicious. Specially liked their pricing and portion size. My family really enjoyed their food. Now we are fans.

I usually enjoy Chicken Salad Chick, but this visit was disappointing. I found a hair in my food, which is obviously off-putting. I considered going up to ask for a replacement, but after noticing employees making fun of a previous customer, I didn’t feel comfortable addressing it. I ended up throwing the food away and leaving. Unfortunately, I probably won’t be returning.

The order was incorrect. Upon returning, I was informed that the Greek Goddess salad I had ordered was no longer available and that preparing an alternative would take a significant amount of time. Despite there being no customers in line, I was required to wait for an unreasonably long period. After avoiding this location for some time due to prior issues, I decided to return, only to experience the same consistently poor level of service.When my order was eventually handed to me—after I waited patiently while employees engaged in casual conversation—I was simply told, “Here is your food.” There was no apology for the mistake, no acknowledgment of the delay, and no expression of appreciation for my patience.
