I’ve had food from everywhere in the Tri state area, and I think this is definitely one of the best in New Jersey City! Food is Seasoned to Perfection, and Salad is fresh, and The Chicken and Shrimp over rice is Fireeee

First of all, the two owners are extremely friendly and entertaining. We had mozzarella sticks, a chicken salad, chicken over rice and also the combo over rice. Everything was really delicious – the texture of the yoghurt dressing with the chicken and rice is juicy and perfect. We highly recommend ordering from here.

The food was good, but I was charged $19 for chicken over rice and a can of soda, which way exceeds their prices on DoorDash (where they charge $12 for chicken over rice). They don’t display prices at the cart, so it’s hard to understand how they are pricing and easy for them to rip you off with whatever they feel like charging. They are definitely price gouging based on appearance. Would be careful about this place given their dishonest behavior. Ask for the price before you buy, or consider just ordering on DoorDash, where the pricing is more transparent.

The best halal truck in JC with affordable prices and large servings. Chef Ali is such a kind hardworking guy who remembered me and my order after the first visit. Will definitely always return 10/10.

I go here at least once a week cause it’s so good. I would say it’s the best halal cart in JC. They make sure you get enough sauce and if you want more, they aren’t afraid to give you more. They got homemade red sauce that doesn’t have that synthetic taste like other hot sauces. Super friendly and they’ll remember you after the 2nd time. Go there and support them! I usually get the chicken over rice but their gyros are amazing too.
