Chili’s Oceanside stays in our regular rotation for a reason. It's not the fanciest, it's not a Mom and pop, but you know exactly what you're gonna get and there's something for everybody, especially for my kiddo who can be a really picky eater. We usually go for the menu deal (appetizer + entrée, always a win), and my son loves it here because the kids’ meal options are great. This visit, we also treated ourselves to the molten chocolate lava cake… and wow. Zero regrets. The service was quick, friendly, and on point.. we like that they usually have the sports game you wanna watch on TV, reasonable cocktails, and a great happy hour, and drinks refilled fast, food came out fresh, and everything ran smoothly. Amazing lunch! We ordered the variety appetizer platter which was delicious and absolutely loved the sliders. I ordered a house salad and upgraded adding salmon. It was incredible. There was a beautifully prepared salmon filet on top of my house salad which included green and red chimichurri and white balsamic glaze as the side sauces. Perfect. Side salad was only $7.95 and an additional $3.50 to add the salmon filet. Wow! Can't beat that. We also ordered the grilled beef sirloin steak was prepared perfectly. I tend to not leave ratings for franchises or big chains because you typically know what to expect but I was impressed with this location. First the exterior is nicer than most others in the state. The interior is definitely very clean and spacious. The privacy is good, and the food was 10/10 for the price. I got the Santa Fe burger and loaded fries. The service was good but not excellent. Overall 5 star location

Growing up in Oregon, I never knew if Chilis was actually as good as everyone says. I can officially announce that it is. They know how to make simple stuff taste really good. You know when you bite into something delicious and your eyebrows go up? Happy hour drinks? Eyebrow raise. Chips and salsa? Eyebrow raise. Triple Dipper? Eyebrow raise. Fried mozzarella cheese pull? Extra raised eyebrows. The Triple Dipper is genius because you get to try three different items from a large list of choices. Left feeling very full and happy. Service was very friendly and frequent. Didn’t have to wait for a table on a Saturday evening which was nice. Parking lot is huge and shared with tons of other business. Good stuff!

Our server Luis was awesome with the service and we left feeling extremely satisfied. It took us 50 minutes to get seated and eat, the same amount of time we spent just waiting for a table at Buffalo Wild Wings. 10/10 would come again
