Chilito Rojo Mexican Food

Came in during lunch 12/17/25. Wife ordered three gorditas, cheese, deshebrada, pastor and asada. All three were bland and overly greasy. I ordered the torta cubana with fries. Fries were also bland and not seasoned. Torta tasted ok, but not "good" by itself. Had to use a lot of salsa for the taste. Overall, bland food that is overpriced. Which is a shame since it actually looked good. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean.

We had a great experience at Chilito Rojo! We ordered the shredded beef tacos, a fajita burrito, and a couple of chicken gorditas, and everything was really good. The shredded beef was flavorful, the fajita burrito was filling and packed with flavor, and the chicken gorditas were delicious and comforting. What really stood out was the service. The man working there was so nice and incredibly helpful — he made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us, which made the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a very welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! 🌮✨

The place is clean and everyone friendly. My steak torta was very good. Everyone said the food was pretty good. Maybe a little high price for lunch, they do not do military discounts either. But i would go back for a torta.

The restaurant looked very clean, probably because it just opened not too long ago. We ordered three tacos – chicken, steak, and barbacoa – plus a sandwich (torta) and a kids’ meal with quesadillas. The tacos and sandwich were so delicious, with lots of meat and everything tasted really fresh. My kids loved the quesadillas because they’re big fans of cheese. We’ll definitely come back again. 😋

Pretty good spot! Enjoyed my pastor burrito. Service was friendly and fairly quick. They're obviously experiencing the same minor issues that all brand new restaurants do, but no major problems! One suggestion I'd make is adding chips and salsa. I know that isn't always a feature of more authentic taquerias, but in Texas I feel like it's going to win over more customers. All in all this place is good and I'm sure will improve as they work some the beginner kinks and get their routine down!
