Shan Hai Camp is so yummy!! The staff are super sweet and friendly, and their service really makes you feel welcome.The signature sweet & sour crispy pork is AMAZING — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly sweet and tangy! The sizzling squid is also a must-try. It’s super flavorful and perfectly chewy in the best way. The whole dining experience was super cozy and happy. I’m definitely coming back! 💕🍽️✨

This new Chinese skewer restaurant really surprised us. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the moment we walked in, it felt just like being in a skewer restaurant back in China.The skewers were excellent, definitely the best we’ve had in Oahu. My favorites were the lamb skewers, chicken gizzards, grilled bread slices, and braised pig ears. I don’t eat much spicy food, so I asked for it to be mild, and it was still delicious. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The girl with short hair and glasses who served our table was really nice, and the manager, Luis, was very helpful too. Location is also convenient, right across from Whole Foods. we will definitely be coming back.

Hawaii finally has a restaurant with a comfortable yard, which is very relaxing and comfortable, The food is delicious, too, which is my favorite spicy degree. I feel relaxed when I eat here, just like at home! The waiter is also very enthusiastic, and the boss is also very happy and enthusiastic. Just like family!

Grill and chill is aptly named. New Chinese skewer shop in Honolulu and probably the only one I might go to frequently as this restaurant is more affordable and atmosphere is really relaxed compared to khan and volcano. I really enjoyed their mala tang and was really pleasantly surprised by their clam noodle soup which has a very deep clam flavored broth. I would have preferred the beef and lamb skewers to be fattier and with more cumin which is what I've been accustomed to in the past but that might be just my personal preference. My friend doesn't eat spicy so we opted for the non spicy option which I think is a downgrade but you can't fault the restaurant for acquiescing to our request. The service is next level. Overall it’s a nice new spot they just need a bigger menu, there are only 5-6 skewers and 2-3 main dishes, although very tasty.
