We tried Chimiking after it being recommended by a family member. My husband is Puerto Rican and we always try to find an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant wherever possible. This one is a decent one that is close to authentic but not fully. The sorrullos were very dry and had a lot of masa. The alcapurrias were pretty good and the tripletta felt more like another sandwich instead of a true tripleta. My husband said he wished they would just stick to the original recipe. My chicken had no flavor and the white sauce was basically a watered down Alfredo. Wish I would have tried the red sauce. Overall would say worth a try but likely will try another one next time in town.

Jeiler, our waiter was so attentive. He made sure our drinks were full. He even helped me get an order than is usually only served on weekends. He made our experience a positive one with his customer service. The food was very homey and delicious. We’d come back for a quick bite again!

We love this restaurant! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great! Our server, Richell, is very attentive and so sweet! Every time we’re in town, we love to hit this spot!

First time ordering take out from this place and although the food wasn’t bad I ordered the steak with rice and beans. When it came down to dessert I was full so I had this delight of a flan queso waiting for me in the fridge and it already caught mold?? Mind you my man ordered from these people yesterday and it caught mold already? I was going to call for a refund/ replacement but if one is moldy what does that tell me about the others or how many other people ate these thinking they’re fresh!! It’s not always about the money but I guess places like this don’t care especially if they sell desserts this old.
