China American Inn

I stumbled across this gem on the evening of the 4th of July. My mom was in the mood for seafood soup, and none of my main spots was open. So as I was at a stop light, I quickly googled the closest open spot, and China America Inn was the 1st in line. I didn't even know this place was a place! And it's close to home too!! It's not a party place, so table seating is limited, BUT the food is so good you will want to take it home and devour it in your own comfort where you can relax afterward. I ordered 2 seafood soups, general tso, and buffalo wings. The man who took my order was super nice and informative about other options available. Very surprised by this local Chinese restaurant! The food was tasty! 😋 The yellow fried rice reminded me of Philly or New York. That nasty brown fried rice I keep finding in Maryland is disgusting and I was so excited when I saw yellow fried rice at this restaurant!!! The shrimp fried rice was absolutely DIVINE as my daughter says. 😎☺️ Ate inside and the young gentlemen taking orders was very nice and courteous. I'm not going to waste gas driving all the way to Hyattsville anymore! This is my new local favorite!! Pro Cook Tip (Complainers below): When eating outside, don't order foods that can be pre-prepped days before or refrigerated a long time (basically, anything dipped in a batter). Great service, clean, attentive and food is amazing love their shrimp lo mein, their crab Rangoons and great portions.

When I order online, they never give me the sauces. I asked for I ordered sweet-and-sour chicken never received the rice. The chicken had no taste no flavor no salt no pepper. Nothing the sauce was chunky. It was in the fridge. Not even warm the sauce look like Jell-O was horrible
