China Buffet

Food was very good and the place is clean. The sushi bar is located away from the main bars and was packed with tasty eats and was manned with its own chef. Definitely value for what you get. The seafood was really good.

This is a typical china buffet. They have very good sushi. The egg drop soup is excellent. The\nFood is not always hot though , but if you get there on a good day , the food is really good. They need to replace the light bulbs in the two huge pictures in the back of the restaurant. When they work they are beautiful. I have been coming here for many years.And they are almost always clean. Except for the bathrooms , they are very , very nasty.

The food was ok. The sweet and sour chicken was fresh, along with the fruit/salad bar. My husband said the clams were decent, not fishy or tough. The fried shrimp was good but the steamed shrimp was mush. The clear soup was only lukewarm and fried noodles were stale. We had a couple of chicken dishes that had maybe had sat too long on the buffet. My husb The restaurant itself could use a good updating. 18.00 for a buffet is a little pricey considering there are other Asian buffets in Durham for 3 dollars less and so many more options. I know everything has gotten more expensive but this place used to have the best crab legs for cheap years ago and so many more options. We just about ran out of water as our server was eating at an adjacent booth while we were eating.

My second visit. It has improved since the 1st time I ate there. The furniture has been updated. It wasn't my idea to eat here, I'm not thrilled with the OG buffets. It was cleaner,furniture was repaired. Food was ok...mussels were inedible. But the fried foods were better. Will I eat here again, No , It still doesn't fit my standards but someone I care for wanted to treat me to a lunch there and I couldn't decline the invite.

I can always count on China Buffet to feed my family after a long day of work when I don’t want to cook. Customer service is great and it matches the yummy food! Will always be back- every 2 weeks 🤪 one of my fave dishes is the jalapeño chicken! Gotta try it!
