China Buffet-St Louis

Was not greeted once entering. Was watched while making my plate got to the front and my food was weighed. Experience might have been better if we ate in. Never had my take out weighed before so it rubbed me the wrong way

Years ago we tried this and was told it had new management and was better. I don't know about the management but it is worse than ever. The food is stale, dry, flat, hard, limited to largely one section of Chinese with the other two being limited desserts and soups. The service is as warm as shaved ice, the decor has the kind of yellow film on everything you would expect from a 70's bar. There are fewer Chinese Buffet options post Covid but not so few that this should be an option unless you need a location within walking distance. All that said the honey meatballs were quite a good surprise but not worth the cost and overall product some of which might sour more than a few people. This is unqualified location to avoid.

The food was really good! My favorite is the Mongolian pork. The staff was fast at cleaning your table. The food was clean and fresh. For the price (10.99) all you can eat, I think it was reasonable. If you're looking for more seafood options, then this is not the place. They only seafood I see was the imitation crab meat. Everything tasted good and will come back in the future.

We had never tried this Chinese buffet before & won't be going back. All of the food was over cooked & dried out. Crab rangoon was not good at all (very dry). Waitress was pretty snotty too. Price was cheap enough , but the quality of the food reflected it..

I would say it is a big stretch to call this place of buffet. Very limited options with about the same amount of any resemblance of customer service. Do not waste your money, go somewhere else. The local big box grocery stores have a better selection and 10x the quality than this “buffet”
