China Gourmet Takeout

Found my absolute favorite Chinese spot! Their Hibachi is a total game-changer, and you can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. Also, don't even get me started on the wings and sweet and sour chicken—pure perfection. The atmosphere is what keeps us coming back. The staff is so warm and attentive—you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Definitely a neighborhood favorite!

Best Pad Thai in Goose Creek, period. It’s perfect every time I order it! On top of the amazing food, the staff is so warm and genuine. They always make you feel welcome, which makes the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

I love the food here! The dumplings are amazing, and the shrimp fried rice with white sauce is delicious and so fresh. The restaurant is spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I’m a big fan!

I ordered the tofu soup. It was literally tofu and veggies in hot water. Zero flavor. Zero. I also ordered the "Lumbia". Yuck. My mother-in-law who is from the Philippines makes this amazingly. It's filled with veggies, meat and actual glass noodles. We also ordered a couple of curry dishes. Mine was horrible. My husband's tasted decent. I chose this restaurant because they were awarded some special restaurant award. Maybe that should be reassessed.

We went and got takeout from here based on the reviews this evening. I feel misled because this is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Chicken was so tough, its not edible. Rice is plain, old and no flavor. We got sweet and sour chicken, General Tsao's chicken and house lo mein. It was ALL HORRIBLE. We spent $50 on takeout only to get home and have to throw in a frozen pizza because the food is that bad. I rarely write bad reviews, bc every place has an off night but this was so bad I feel the need to warn others. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, anywhere if you want something decent to eat.
