China Pavilion

I ordered through DoorDash and got a call from the restaurant that one item was not available, and I called them back to provide a substitute. But my order was cancelled without my knowing and now it’s almost 10 Pm and I have no food and no car and I’m hungry!!!

This place usually has good food. I waited over 2 hours for delivery I kept calling and all anyone said is the drivers a few blocks away. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and said I shouldn’t have to pay for my food or ar least get a discount, they said the manager said they can’t do that. But it was ok that delivery took 2 hours? I didn’t get my food until 1015 pm and I ordered at 813 and was told 40-50 minutes for delivery which was fine at 1 hour and 10 minutes I called and was told he was a few blocks away didn’t get food until 1015pm

I don’t know why this place has low reviews. I love ordering Chinese food from here. Granted I have never ordered delivery and it seems like that’s where a lot of the negative reviews are coming from. However, pickup has never failed me. They pack the containers to the top and do not skimp on the portions. My favorites are the Beef Lo Mein, Hot and Sour soup, Beef with Garlic Sauce and Moo Shu Pork Yes at times when I got to pick up the food there is a bit of wait but not more than 10 minutes. They are always busy in the back so I get it. Food is good. Period. If you want that classic greasy (in a good way) hearty yummy Chinese food, this is the place in Stamford for me.

Food didn't taste fresh and egg roll had a smell to it. I didn't finish food because it was over sauce so you couldn't enjoy it. Rice was hard like it was old rice ..
