Since I've moved to NC I've been looking for a good egg foo young. I got the pork egg foo young for take out and it was a 9.5/10. Normally I do not like the sauce most places serve with it but their's was delicious! I also got a small hot and sour soup. Its different than what I'm typically used to. More sour and not as thick. But regardless it was an 8/10. I enjoyed the rich flavors so much. My only complaint is the meal was kind of spendy. I normally spend under $15 for those 2 items and it was $20.30 total. The prices online might need to be updated as well but it does say $8.69 for the egg foo young and $4.38 for a small hot and sour soup. Otherwise overall I did enjoy my meal alot. If anyone enjoys egg foo young the way I do I highly recommend.

The rice is disgusting. The chicken is OK. It’s a nice size proportion and the lady at the front desk was really sweet, but the rice is horrible also They are a little unsanitary as the lady was coming from making food to ringing up customers with the same pair of greasy gloves

3.9 overall Good prices, portion and decent flavor with a very nice owner/front lady. Order was done fast and easy, tasted fresh. Chicken could have been more crispy, noodles could use a tad more flavor and rice was a tad dry, but again not bad for the price - it's fast food!

Best egg rolls EVER!!! I love their food,they cut their meats small and their veggies are steamed to perfection.

China Star is a restaurant in the same new strip mall as the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Legion Road. We have been there several times since we "discovered" it. The first time, not knowing their Open time, we approached their door, but turned around and headed to our car to go somewhere else because neither of us wanted to wait. One of the owners opened the door and invited us in. Her husband started cooking as soon as he knew what we wanted. The food brought to the table (really quickly) was beautiful! And smelled so good. My husband and I agreed that for the first time since we moved back to NC, the Chinese meal we had before us was the best! We had enjoyed Japanese food and the Chinese food while we lived in Iwakuni.
