1st time ordering from here and will probably be my last. I mentioned our allergies and asked for chicken teriyaki vs chicken fingers for one of the plates. They accommodated as requested. However, when we came home and checked the food I was disappointed at the portions given. Figured the taste would make up for it. I figured wrong. The beef and broccoli was terrible, well mainly the beef as the broccoli had nice texture and wasn't mushy. The sauce was gross, as was the beef. I took 1 bite, spit it out, and tried to eat just the broccoli and rice. Couldn't even enjoy that cause the sauce ruined the plate. My son got general tso's chicken w/ pork fried rice. Food is a little dry & bland, but edible. Chicken teriyaki was dry & lacked flavor. Chicken lo mein was dry. Fried rice was dry & bland. Chicken fingers were a tad greasy. Wasn't really worth the money I spent on it, but it was conveniently close to where I live. Service was great. Resteraunt was quiet.

I came here around 7 pm 03/04/2025. My mother and I sat down to look over the menu. The owners were very polite. We ordered a house platter/ pupu for 2, great portion size, chicken wings were delicious and fresh, I LOVED the crab Rangoon. We will definitely be coming back! Nothing better than trying a new Chinese restaurant for the first time and being completely satisfied! Thank you China Star! ⭐️

1st and the last we will be going. I have never posted a bad review before in my life, so this is my 1st. General TSO was so sweet, not extra spicy, as requested. Our 9 year old was eating it like it was candy. Hot and sour soup was temperature hot but tasted burnt without the sour. Kids only ate their white rice mostly. Lunch was over $83 for 2 adults and 2 children. 11-year-old daughter said the bathroom was dirty and there was hair shampoo and hairdryer in the bathroom without a shower? She thought someone must be living there!
