China Star

I’ve been a China Star customer since early childhood. Out of all the years I’ve visited, I’ve had wonderful experiences. When I was younger my favorite sushi roll to order was the crunch roll. Their chicken and corn soup is also amazing, and I love the fried noodles with duck sauce that would come with it. It’s warm, creamy, and very filling. I also recommend ordering shrimp with vegetables (brown sauce) with fried rice. For me, adding tofu is a must. It pairs really good with all the vegetables and flavors. The service is also really great. Orders come out quickly and the customer service is always lovely. Love coming here once a week for that shrimp plate with tomatoes, bell pepper and squash. This has also contributed to my weight loss. From 160 lbs down to 113 lbs. Delicious food.

there was MOLD in the lettuce and vegetables in the fried rice, i barley noticed till i looked closer. it is not pepper or any other seasonings because it does not come off and is imbedded into the vegetables. the service was slow the ice tea, smelled like clorox i had to return it. they used water from the faucet. I asked for a bottle of water and i was almost finish eating when the water was brought to the table. the place had one person, and the place was full of people that it took for ever to get service.

There were a few items on the buffet that were really good. (Fried veggies, coconut shrimp, and some type of egg patty). However, the reminder of items I tried i was disappointed with the taste. Im a huge eggroll fan and the egg rolls there are large. Unfortunately, for me, i didnt care for their taste. I went with a group of coworkers. Half really liked it and the other half did not. I believe this will be true for everyone else. You'll either really like this place or not.

I usually stop by the local buffet places when I travel and this place is decent. Food needs to be kept warmer and need more flavor. They do have steamed pork bun which I never find in other buffet places.
