Cutty cash only spot that offers some great roasted duck and chicken. I thought this place was great had a wide selection of meats and everything was tasty especially the duck. The marinated sweet pork was also delicious, if you want to try all three get the R1. We also tried the pork belly but it wasn’t as good as the other meats. Everything was tasty and they portions are hefty. My gf and I had three meals out of 2 plates and only spent 30 bucks. One of my favorite things to make with the leftovers was fried rice with the pork and chicken.
Amazing place for price quality food. $45 for the 3 of us. The plates filled up to the rim. The taste, excellent. The roast duck wonton soup was excellent, generous meat and wonton. The mixed duck pork and chicken rice plate was up the max. Tender pork and chicken. The Sichuan beef was pretty good. Hot tea was free. You can’t go wrong here. Parking is a bit tricky. Highly recommend this place.
Delicious food, duck, pork, so many yummy 😋🤤 options! Def recommended by me ❤️❤️❤️
A bit off off the beaten path, down on Harrison Avenue on the other side of Tufts Medical Center (almost down to the Mass Pike) from the main part of Boston’s Chinatown, Chinatown Cafe ranks really high on our taste-per-dollar scale, and easily worth the 3 extra blocks’ hike to get there. Just about everything they do is excellent, with generous portions for (mostly) reasonable prices. You can dine in, but everything is still sort of in pandemic mode, with the plastic shield still up, and no table service - but there are booths you can tuck into with your to-go order. Their roast duck is easily the best in Boston. Like other Guangzhou-style (Conatonese?) restaurants, duck, chicken and pork roasts hang from hooks, visible from the street. The beef Chow Fun (chow foon?) with broccoli in bro
Everything here feels homey. Good, classic Chinese food. Free, warm tea. You can see and hear families either sitting down and chatting it up or getting takeout to bring home to their kids. Hope they can stay open forever 💙 (cash only)
