Ordered a bowl at this location. I asked for black beans and was given a very small portion. Requested more but was told that would be extra from a staff memebr that clearly did not like her job. Not a ounce of joy in those eyes. The amount of beans placed was ridiculous. Like I was not asking for a "hook up" here. I was asking for a appreciate amount of beans in my bowl. I did not complain about the pound of rice placed. I just wanted a fair amount of beans to go with my pound of rice. Lady ruined my dinner. Bowl was made with career frustration hands.
⸻ I had a really disappointing experience here. I ordered a bowl and asked for the chicken on the side, the same way I’ve always gotten it. Instead, the employee put it in a full container bowl and said she had to charge me extra. I told her I wanted it in the small container they always use, but she refused and said she was “following the rule book.” When I asked for her name, she refused to give it and wasn’t wearing a name tag. The cashier and other staff were rude and kept looking at me like I was the problem. I asked to speak with a manager, and when she came over, she didn’t apologize or even acknowledge the issue—just looked at the bowls and said nothing. The first time I tried Chipotle, I ordered a burrito bowl on Uber Eats. Recently, I got a BOGO coupon and a free guacamole for my birthday, so I decided to visit the store in person. This time, I tried a Burrito Bowl (steak, no rice, two kinds of beans) and a Burrito (beef barbacoa, brown rice, two kinds of beans). It was clear that without rice base, the Burrito Bowl looked quite flat (portion size was not generous), and someone with a big appetite might not find it filling enough. The burrito with brown rice, however, weighed a hefty 586g, which could easily be split into at least two meals, and was very satisfying. I had a very disappointing experience at this Chipotle location today during my lunch break. I placed an online pickup order and later realized it was sent to another Frederick Ave location in Gaithersburg. I initially asked if my order could be fixed or remade in store, but I was told I would have to request a cancellation online and place a new order at this location, which I did and paid for without a problem. When I asked for the manager’s name—only in case I needed it when reaching out to Chipotle customer support for a refund—she came out and was rude, unprofessional, and hostile from the start. The manager, a young Latina woman with tattoos on her chest, refused to provide her name, laughed at me, told me “Do what you want, I won't give you my name” and walked away while I was still
There is no 0 star. This is the worst Chipotle location I have ever visited. I strongly recommend going to a different store and avoiding this one entirely. I arrived at 8:10 p.m., and there were about 15 people ahead of me. After waiting for 30 minutes, around 8:40 p.m., one of the kitchen staff announced that there would be an additional 17-minute wait for white rice. Rice is a basic item, how can a Chipotle run out of it for 47 min? What made the experience even worse was the management. The manager or shift lead did not have the courtesy to inform customers directly about the delay. Instead, she told one of the high school employees to deliver the message. It is extremely disappointing that someone in a leadership position behaves this way. There was no apology offered at any point
