I was very, very happy with this place because they not only serve the food in Real home cooking family style bowls and plates like the ride bowl and steel silverware and the side dish trays are all metal for you. Get the galbi (short ribs) on a hot plate. For $29.95, you can get a combo meal with short ribs on a hot plate on a bed of onions and soft tofu soup (any flavor and ingredients you want … a nice choice of items) that comes with a pack of seaweed, 5 side dishes (vege pancake, raw egg to crack into your tofu soup as soon as you get it, bean sprouts, pickled cucumber, and kimchi. The beef tofu soup was such a tasty and flavorful soup. You are allowed to request the level of spice or no spice. And the ingredients were so clean and fresh and high quality. The food court was very busy during dinner hours but the food was yummy and came out in a timely manner. The cashier was not Korean but I didn’t know and kept talking to her in Korean lol. We had to check our order numbers just in case after we found out she was not Korean. The owner came out while we were ordering and was super friendly and helped us get our food to the table, even though she didn’t have to. Unlike some of the other places in this location, they give you actual silverware (in my case, goldware) and it was a lot nicer experience than trying to eat your soup with one of those flimsy plastic spoons. I love this place! I come here every Sunday after church for a nice Korean meal. My personal favorite is the Bulgogi beef it is amazinggg!!! The staff is wonderful, so respectful, friendly, and understanding! I love the market in general such a welcoming place.

Here’s a polished review you can post: We had a great experience at Chodang Tofu! We shared a couple of plates so we could try different dishes, and everything was delicious. The staff was so kind and gave us great recommendations. The presentation was beautiful, and the hot plates were our favorite — so flavorful and satisfying. We’ll definitely be coming back !

They're pretty quick to get the orders out and the food is fantastic every time. I highly recommend dinning in and get one of their hot stone bibimbops, especially #28 with spicy chicken (picture attached). Portions are large and usually too much for me to finish and are a good size to share with someone.
