Chofita’s Food Truck 1

I was driving by and was drawn to this food truck because it was brightly lit and had a nice set-up of fresh-cut fruits and snacks out front. I got the Beef tongue sandwich (with everything on it) and it was SO DELICIOUS! I, also, got the mangonada, which was very refreshing, and had real chunks of mango in it. The price was reasonable. The service was great! The lady taking the order was very helpful and pleasant. They had tables set up outside, so you can eat there (which I decided to do, since it was a nice evening). This is my new, favorite food truck! I'll definitely be back! Next time, I'll buy some of the fresh-cut fruits and snacks.

I enjoyed finding the Chofita food truck off of Grant Avenue today. I had the tacos al pastor and a bean and cheese papusa. I found the food to be flavorful, made with fresh ingredients, and served straight from the griddle. The folks were patient with me as I ordered in Spanish….it seems all the folks who ordered after me and sat at the tables were all enjoying their food. I recommend checking this place out… you would just have to a miserable soul to come up with anything negative to say… it was a lovely lunch al fresco. Shout out to the staff - they’re working hard - and the proof is in the papusa… tasty food!

I don’t know about the food truck, but the restaurant is NASTY and dirty. Everything from the doors, floors and salt shakers. Dirty dirty. Why would you light an incense at the front of a restaurant? They are trying to mask a mold smell. I had to ask for a towel to clean my seat. The chips were cold and stale. No flavor what’s so ever! Don’t waste your time or money here. Never ever coming to this sticky hole.

Very chill vibe. Good food, nice and quick service. Prices have gone up a bit especially since the pandemic, but comparable to other Taco joints in the area Several fruit juice options, fresh cut fruits, as well as Mexican Street snacks. I love their hand wash station. Neat little thing!!

We went out for an early Father’s Day/Birthday dinner and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere and music is fantastic, the food was delicious and Julio, our waiter, was extremely attentive and courteous. We topped off the dinner with some very tasty churros. We will be visiting again soon. Thanks!
